We stayed in the most historic neighborhood of Baltimore - Fells Point - known for its topsail schooner production back in the day. You may also know it from Homicide: Life on the Street. I've never watched the show, but I'm sure it was the quaintest crime drama ever to air on television.
To the left, please notice America's (and possibly the world's) tallest pentagonal building. If you look closely, you can see a garrish Hard Rock Cafe guitar ruining a perfectly lovely building.
This little boat first set sail from Bremerhaven in 1914. My then 10-year-old grandmother wasn't that far away.
And who's this little fella peeking through the trees? Mr. Natty Boh, at it again.
New York City may be the setting for Sex and the City, but Baltimore can do one better: Segs in the City.
And then there is, of course, the most dangerous cannon in all of Baltimore...
...and the most peaceful tugboats.
Ah, Peabody, aren't you the luckiest guy to be cast in bronze in the greatest city in America? Think about it.
