Just follow the directions in The Best Recipe Cookbook. These are the Giant Chewy kind. The trick is to roll each cookie into a ball, split it, turn each half 90 degrees and stick it back together, leaving the tops jagged.

You know what else makes really good chocolate chip cookies? Adding peppermint extract to the dough. Good stuff.
