Last evening after work, Chris and I said 'allo to Manito with a summer stroll through the park.
We perched on a bench to watch the gooses and geeses and baby ducklings, as well as the little children throwing bread chunks at them.
We read the names of the rose varieties in the rose garden, like "Joyfulness."
We found the place in the park where time stands still - or at least the sundial proves itself to be utterly useless when it's overshadowed by stately shrubbery.
It was just lovely.
