For a long time I have greatly enjoyed The Onion. The headlines are what consistently hook me in and I am often satisfied just on those alone. But on the occasion that I have a little extra time, I'll read commentaries like these and remember that there's actually funny writing to back up those headlines. Some of it is truly dumb and obnoxious, but I got the latest Onion Weekly Dispatch e-mail this afternoon and rather enjoyed this one because it appeals to my ultra cynical view of news media.
