May 30 (2)

I made out like a bandit at The Classy Rack this evening. I paid 93 cents and got all of these gems. The records were purchased to try out on my radio show, but Family Portrait is probably the only one worth playing. Various A&M artists of the day including Herb, Burt, Claudine Longet, of all people, and some other funny-named folks.
This is a page from the knitting book I got -- the photos are so excellent -- meaning, so completely ridiculous. Click on this picture to learn about what all the knitting patterns signify in Irish knitting. I think the woman on the left gave Gwyneth Paltrow her sideways smile inspiration. And is that Pierce Brosnan behind her? These are completely realistic poses. Or...I guess I need to be wearing these sort of frocks to create my own reality.
