Tonight I was out visiting the dorms at Whitworth to promote an event we have coming up on Friday. My first stop was the infamous dorm of freshmen, Baldwin-Jenkins, a.k.a. B.J. On their wall they had a list of things to do in Spokane. I can't help but think that it was the older, more experienced R.A.'s who wrote this list, but still, I'm impressed they came up with 515 things (even if their goal was 1,000), and to know of places I discovered only after I graduated.
If you click for a close-up, you'll see that there are some definite Whitworthy things to do, such as "DTR's" and visiting dorms named "Akili" and "Tiki." Help me out on #201 - does that say "Chaka Khan"? And the one after that, "stumble"? I'm confused. Well, I shouldn't judge when I myself was once part of this population who got "drunk" on water and took niacin just for the itch of it. Weirdos, all of us.
