It's green, they say

On mornings/islands/trips like this, colors just pop. Everything makes a good photo. When I clicked on the "I feel lucky" photo editing tool (which often helps my photos look a little more brilliant by picking up contrasts and colors), barely anything happened to these photos. Somehow it had decided I had been lucky enough to have been where I'd been and have captured such beautiful images. It basically said, "How could photo technology possibly improve upon THAT? Just leave it." So I left it. Pure, unadulterated photos.

Lesson learned: it's good to have friends on the island. They will lead you down lesser-known pathways which take you to quiet bights (bight - seems like a great word for a crossword puzzle).

Some little treasures on the rocks:

Wow, very cool--and you know you did something right when the "I feel lucky" button doesn't offer any alterations to your photos.

You know what I think?? I think you took the crab from our beach trip and superimposed it onto this photo. Thought you'd get away with it? I think not! You've be caught.
