Cats, that's right, cats.

It was a cat birthday for Rachel this year at my mom and dad's. This was a moment when I got to see my mom shine as the Clever Queen as she concocted all these ideas for decorations, costumes, the cake, etc. Give her an excuse to use up her felt scraps and she'll take it, and then some. I got to make the cat-ear headbands that afternoon before my brother and his family (and birthday girl) arrived. It just goes to show that it really is necessary to just go all out sometimes. I started to wonder who was really having the best time - the adults or the kids. So silly.
